Windows
Automatically activates the Update which allows them to download Windows 10
without your consent and it takes almost 3 GB from your disk just so your
laptop is ready in case you wanted to upgrade.
That’s why if you’re on Windows
8 or 7 and want to stop your Windows from the automatic update to Windows 10
you need to follow these steps to disable it:
First Method:
You can download
this freeware GWX Control Panel which is very simple and by just a click on
Disable ‘Get Windows 10’ App it’s gonna make you get rid of of the Get Windows
10 icon that appears non-stop on your laptop.
And again with a
simple click on Disable Operating System Upgrades in Windows Update it’s gonna
disable the automatic update and the download of the system on your machine
without you knowing about it.
Second Method:
Never10 is a simple
tool that has a button that switches off all of Microsoft’s attempts to make
you upgrade to Windows 10. You can enable or disable the upgrade with a single
click.
If you install Never10 and later you decide that you want
to upgrade, simply turn it off and run the update.
Microsoft is trying to push Windows 10 through Windows update, Never10
will run a check to make sure that your Windows Updates are current. If not,
the app will install these updates for you and block Windows 10 in the process.
